Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and team supervision. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and managing staff effectively to deliver a seamless dining experience across casual, fine dining, and catering environments.
Duties
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance to foster a motivated and efficient team.
Oversee food preparation processes ensuring quality standards are met while adhering to food safety regulations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
Handle cash transactions accurately, perform shift management, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, banquet services, and special functions like hotel or bar services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all operational areas.
Implement training & development programs to enhance staff skills in food handling, customer service, and hospitality management.
Monitor operational costs and assist with budgeting to optimize profitability while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment conducive to efficient restaurant operations.
Experience
Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a focus on food industry best practices.
Extensive background in food service management including supervising staff in hospitality or restaurant settings.
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance.
Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments is advantageous.
Strong leadership skills with a history of team management, training & development, and supervising diverse teams.
Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is desirable but not mandatory; relevant hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.
