JR MULTIMEDIA ARTIST

Summary

Create special effects, animation, or other visual images using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in products or creations, such as computer games, movies, music videos, and commercials. Create and design concepts for print and digital advertisements and layouts for publications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Design, create and edit complex graphics and animation, using independent judgment and creativity
  • Script, plan, and create story boards and animated narrative sequences
  • Participate in design and production of multimedia campaigns
  • Stay updated with the rapidly changing trends and upgrades in technology and training needed, as it pertains to your duties.
  • Contributes to team effort by participating in brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas and working with a team and group setting

Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
  • Exposed to digital and social campaigns
  • Have degree in graphic/multimedia design or related creative discipline or experience
  • Must be detail oriented and work well in handling multiple jobs in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and able to work under pressure
  • Possess knowledge in design principles across multiple devices
  • Have interpersonal, collaborative and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with limited supervision to meet goals and deadlines

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid Guam Driver’s License.
