Position Objective:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by building strong relationships, securing new opportunities and expanding service offerings.
Principle responsibilities:
- Maintain good internal/external customer satisfaction levels by exhibiting competent and timely service, anticipating needs, and resolving problems.
- Maintain positive relationship with independent contractor delivery drivers to ensure consistent service quality.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with restaurants, suppliers, and vendors to expand service offerings.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
- Develop plans for entering new markets, launching new service offerings, or expanding delivery zones.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Explore new revenue streams such as subscription plans, loyalty programs, or premium service tiers.
Education/Experience/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in food service, delivery, or logistics.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Effective leadership and team management
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Business development and partnership negotiation
- Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
