Position Objective:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by building strong relationships, securing new opportunities and expanding service offerings.

Principle responsibilities:

  • Maintain good internal/external customer satisfaction levels by exhibiting competent and timely service, anticipating needs, and resolving problems.
  • Maintain positive relationship with independent contractor delivery drivers to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with restaurants, suppliers, and vendors to expand service offerings.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Develop plans for entering new markets, launching new service offerings, or expanding delivery zones.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Explore new revenue streams such as subscription plans, loyalty programs, or premium service tiers.

Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in food service, delivery, or logistics.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Effective leadership and team management
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Business development and partnership negotiation
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
