Position Objective
The supervisor is responsible for assisting the management team in executing Chili’s standards. This role will vary by the needs of the restaurant, but can include; opening/closing duties, limited administrative functions, and assisting management with proper execution of kitchen processes and service standards.
Essential Functions
- Assist in restaurant operations and conditions to ensure the quality of the product and Guest service and Hospitality
- Reviews documentation to assess the quality of restaurant operations
- Assists with the training of non-management employes
- Assigns duties and responsibilities to Team Members based upon work requirements
- Administer kitchen set up by creating prep sheets and station and cleaning duties
- Assist management in monitoring staffing
- Monitor FOH and Bar set up and complete line checks for these areas
- Attend Manager and Certified Trainer meetings
- Rectifies Guest complaints
- Coaching team member on each shift – appreciative and constructive
- Communicate suggestive selling goals or contest results to FOH Team Members
- Participates in shift meetings/check ins and promotes Team Service
- Perform basic register functions including voids, comps, discounts, other table maintenance
- Assist management in monitoring food and beverage preparation, receiving and storage
- Communicate orders for food, beverages and small wares
- Documents events in the Digital Logbook
- when needed, may perform the duties of a food server, bartender, host, expediter, line/prep cook or dishwasher
Requirements
- Current Health Certificate
- 2 years Restaurant experience
