Summary

The Digital Content Coordinator for Glimpses Media is a key position within the organization, responsible for managing the digital content and overseeing various aspects of online presence. This role includes content creation, website management, and coordination of digital platforms. The Digital Content Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and effectively engage the target audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Develop and execute content strategy for Glimpses Media’s products, specifically across various digital platforms, including creation and curation of content across multiple channels, such as website posts, social media posts, and email newsletters.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content for digital channels, ensuring consistent branding and messaging
  • Optimize website content for SEO and implement best practices for improved organic visibility
  • Manage freelance content creators to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality digital content.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up to date with the latest events and happenings on Guam
  • Collaborate with the Glimpses Media team to ensure all digital content is aligned with the brand’s messaging and objectives
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results
  • Report on content analytics and engagement to improve overall performance

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or experience in related field
  • 1+ year of experience in content management, social media management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proven track record of creating and managing successful content strategies
  • Must be willing to work outside of traditional office hours to attend events or gather content. This may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience managing freelance content creators
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practices
  • Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing tools and analytics tools
  • Passion for creating stories and engaging content
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

This position is full time, hybrid (remote and in-office).
