Position Summary:

A Subway Training Manager is responsible for instructing, directing, and coaching all staff members to meet the needs of our guests and our daily operations to provide outstanding customer service.

Principle Responsibilities:

Have thorough knowledge and understanding of all Company products, services, and procedures.
Direct staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
Provide constructive feedback and rewards accomplishments.
Utilize Subway training tools and checklists to track new hires’ progress and ensure guidelines are being followed.
Supports management by training new team members, restocking products, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Trains new team members on Customer Service Excellence, break baking, opening, and closing procedures, cash register including cash handling procedures, cleaning and maintenance procedures, and other Subway standard procedures.
Delegates responsibility to team members based on individual ability and motivation.
Prioritizes and assigns work in an organized efficient manner while maintaining expected productivity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Facilitate and conduct refresher and new program training when need calls for it.
Provides feedback and progress reports to the Store Manager regularly.
Conduct Monthly Restaurant evaluations for Guam and Saipan.
Identify training needs according to operations and store standard.
Identify weaknesses and plan for improvement.
Establish a standard procedure for all restaurants and implement.
Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related areas.
2 years of experience in training with one year of supervisory experience.
Skill & Knowledge:

Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
Ability to moderate large groups.
Good computer and database skills.
Physical Demands:

Must be physically able to work at any station in the restaurant and to operate a computerized Point of Sale System/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
